Resume Reviews

As we are now at the mid-point of the summer, it’s the perfect time to have your resume or CV reviewed by an advisor in Career Services.  A resume serves as a summary of your skills, experiences, and qualifications.  We are happy to help you with understanding the different sections of a resume, how to list information, layout, etc.  Given the variety of career industries you may be interested in which may require different skills to be emphasized, we recommend that you have more than one version of your resume.  We also offer sample resumes on our website based on different degree programs and industries.

For undergraduates, you can submit your resume online to your respective school advising team.  For graduate students and postdocs, feel free to schedule an appointment or have a phone “drop-in” with one of us on the graduate student and postdoc advising team.

For graduate students and postdocs on the academic job search, we also can review your cv, cover letter, teaching philosophies, research statements and diversity statements.

Hope everyone is safe and healthy!  We look forward to working with you in Career Services!
