Nail that first impression with FREE professional attire!

Happy August! As we round out these last few weeks of summer – and if you are in the Philadelphia area they are a very warm last few weeks of summer – we want to remind you about Penn’s partnership with The Wardrobe, a Philly nonprofit thrift boutique that sells new or gently used professional clothing. Through our established partnership generously funded by University Life, Penn students can shop for free to ensure they have the wardrobe they need to feel confident as they enter into this next school year. We all know that first impressions are lasting impressions, so whether you are preparing for career fairs, interviews, networking events, a fall internship (or anything else, really!) we want to make sure you are dressed for success.

The process is easy. All you have to do is sign up for an appointment to meet with your own professional clothing consultant!  Can’t make an appointment in person? No problem – The Wardrobe will work with you to find out your professional attire needs and send you a box of items in the mail (also free of charge). If you are a current Penn student interested in this service, visit https://careerservices.upenn.edu/resources/career-wardrobe/ and follow the instructions. Questions? E-mail Anne Dickinson in Career Services at anne2@upenn.edu.
