Describe your experience working with your host.
My experience with my host was outstanding. We met once a week, and during these sessions, he provided valuable insights into what it means to be a consultant. He also introduced me to others PhDs at Trinity, which helped expand my network. Additionally, he significantly improved my presentation skills through dedicated coaching.
What did you learn from this opportunity (about yourself, potential career fields, the job search, etc.)?
This opportunity taught me the importance of thorough preparation in the job search process. I also discovered a strong interest in pursuing a career in consulting and gained confidence in my ability to succeed in this field.
How did your CEF experience benefit your future career plans?
My CEF experience opened doors for me within Trinity Life Sciences and helped me build a network within the consulting industry. This networking is invaluable for my future career plans, providing connections and insights that will be beneficial as I pursue consulting roles.
What was the most valuable part of your CEF experience?
The most valuable part of my CEF experience was visiting the Trinity offices. I had the chance to speak with consultants and partners, present in front of them, and receive constructive feedback, which was incredibly enriching.

CEF offers a supportive environment to explore career options further. It provides a network of organizers and tools to connect with fellow graduate students who share similar challenges. This support system is instrumental in navigating career transitions and finding the right path.
