University Life’s Career Services proudly partners with The Wardrobe, a nonprofit boutique in Philadelphia and surrounding areas, so that Penn students can shop for professional or everyday clothing for free. So far, thousands of our students have benefited from this partnership, whether they’ve found full suits for interviews, on-the-job “work” outfits, scrubs for those working in a clinical setting or even casual clothing that isn’t career-related at all. If none of the open appointment time slots work as we wind down the semester, but you’d still like to take advantage of this resource, Career Services can provide you with a gift card to drop in during open shopping hours (Mon-Sat, 11am-6pm). The gift card covers up to six free items of clothing and accessories. While the main location is on 4th Street in Philadelphia, The Wardrobe also has shops in Exton, Kennett Square and Upper Darby, PA (all with the same shopping hours as the Philadelphia store).
