This summer, I had the privilege of interning with GoMVB Sports, a company at the intersection of sports and technology. GoMVB Sports is dedicated to enhancing the visibility and marketability of athletes across various sports by leveraging innovative digital strategies. The company works closely with athletes, teams, and brands to create engaging content, manage social media presence, and develop marketing strategies that resonate with today’s sports enthusiasts. My experience at GoMVB Sports not only deepened my understanding of the sports industry but also allowed me to contribute meaningfully to the company’s mission.
Throughout the internship, I was involved in a variety of tasks that provided a well-rounded experience in sports marketing and digital content creation. I created personalized photo and video edits that highlighted the unique strengths of athletes, helping them to stand out in a competitive market. Additionally, I authored personalized articles that were used to engage fans and promote the athletes’ stories, adding a personal touch to the company’s content strategy. My role also included making sales calls to potential clients, which honed my communication skills and gave me insights into the business side of sports. Furthermore, I collaborated on developing ad spending strategies aimed at minimizing costs while maximizing revenue, which was a critical aspect of the company’s growth strategy.
My time at GoMVB Sports was incredibly rewarding, as it allowed me to immerse myself in the sports industry and gain hands-on experience in several key areas. The fast-paced environment and the variety of tasks I was assigned kept me engaged and constantly learning. I was particularly proud of the work I did on ad spending strategies, where I applied analytical thinking to optimize campaigns and drive better results for the company. This internship not only strengthened my skills in content creation and marketing but also gave me a deeper appreciation for the behind-the-scenes efforts that go into promoting and supporting athletes. I look forward to applying these experiences in my future endeavors and am grateful for the opportunity to contribute to such an innovative company.
