Penn Engineering Online Career Expo: Employers

Penn’s School of Engineering & Applied Science is excited to provide employers with the opportunity to connect with our Online Master of Computer and Information Technology (MCIT) student cohort. This event is free of charge for all employer participants! This online graduate degree program mirrors the on-campus MCIT course content, and gives individuals who are passionate about up-skilling themselves the opportunity to enter the technology sector. Our students are developing highly skilled technical expertise and combining that knowledge with a wide swath of transferable skills represented by their professional experience across many different industries. Who are our students?

  • Enrollment: ~1500 students
  • Specialization: MCIT Online coursework includes Java, Python, C, C++, data structures, software design, and systems programming in addition to exposure to AWS and TensorFlow
  • Demographics: 42% female
  • Outcomes: After graduation most of our students get jobs as Software Engineers. Others have reported career outcomes as Data Scientists and Product Managers
  • Seeking: Our students range in age from 22-64; some of our students are seeking internships, others are looking for entry level positions, and some are a great fit for the next step up– fill your entire talent pipeline with this single cohort

After registering for the event, you will need to create your schedule for the day. Employers have the option to set-up both group information sessions and one-on-one meetings with students.
