Our Property Management internship program allows you the unique opportunity to work with our real estate team and gain real world experience in property management operations.
Atapco Properties is a wholly owned subsidiary of American Trading and Production Corporation which was originally formed to consolidate, expand and diversify the business activities of the Blaustein family, the founder of the American Oil Company (AMOCO). Atapco Properties is active in Maryland, Indiana, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Virginia, developing state-of-the-art industrial, retail, residential and mixed-use projects with an emphasis on sustainability and green building standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES
In this position you will be engaging in or assisting with many of the following activities:
- Support in coordinate with tenants and contractors on scheduling of maintenance or repair services.
- Obtain insurance information from tenants and contractors, follow up on insurance compliance.
- Support in follow up with tenants on maintenance requirements for leased space.
- Support with vendor contract process, prepare agreement templates, contract administration.
- Compiling information data for real estate holdings, operations, tenants and contractors.
- Database compilation, management and administration.
- Populate and or migrate information to new company application platforms.
- Tenant, vendor or contractor account review and reconciliation.
REQUIREMENTS
- Working towards a degree in Real Estate, Finance or Business. Graduate students and recent graduates also considered.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Motivated and proactive.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of property management industry and software is a plus.
- Knowledge of SharePoint software a plus.
- Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination

- Time Period: June 2024 – August 2024, with the possibility of extension
