Frequently Asked Questions

What are the registration costs for Engineering & Technology Career Days?

For our in-person event on Friday 9/13, fees are $700 per organization and $250 for start-ups, non-profits, government entities, and Penn-affiliated organizations.

For our virtual event on Thursday 9/12, fees are $500 per organization and $250 for start-ups, non-profits, government entities, and Penn-affiliated organizations. All virtual event registration fees will be waived for organizations attending both in-person and virtual events; please choose the appropriate registration type in your form and a discount will be applied upon confirmation of both event registrations.

Please Note: Cancellations made after August 30, 2024 are payable in full and non-refundable.

Are organizations able to sponsor the event?

Yes! A limited number of sponsorship status registrations are available! Sponsoring organizations will have their organization logo displayed on all marketing materials, be profiled in email outreach to candidates in advance of the fair, and be recognized in all materials, handouts, event maps and any other print or digital messaging. For additional ways to capitalize on your event sponsorship, please contact our Employer Relations team!

There is an opportunity for a limited number of organizations to sponsor this event – further details are provided in the Registration page. PLEASE NOTE: Registrations will be confirmed and invoiced starting July 1, 2024, after which payments can be made via check or credit card.

What is included with my In-Person Event registration?

Registered organizations will be provided one 6-foot dressed table, up to 3 chairs, bottled water for each registered representative (filtered refill stations available), and access to breakfast refreshments, boxed lunches and all-day coffee and tea. Representatives are welcome to re-cover their table, provide handouts, information, and arrange displays within their table’s footprint. This event sells out every year, and space is at a premium; we kindly ask you to avoid bringing very large displays or those that exceed 6-feet in width so as not to impinge on your neighboring organization’s space.

Please also be sure to register and participate in the Virtual Engineering & Technology Day on Thursday 9/12 as well, as registration costs for that event are waived for In-Person Event attendees!

How can I advertise our opportunities in advance of the Virtual and/or In-Person Fair?

Organizations with specific job opportunities for which they are recruiting are invited to identify these during the registration process by uploading positions to Handshake, and then easily linking those roles to their career fair registration form. These opportunities will be highlighted in pre-event outreach and marketing to students and postdocs interested in attending the fair.
