Corporate Risk Analyst
Altus Partners was founded on the principle that by eliminating commission from every insurance transaction and bringing the power of objectivity to the client-broker relationship, clients benefit from more cost-effective insurance and risk management programs than those provided by commission-driven brokers. We are rewarded for our advice, transactional efficiency and ongoing service, regardless of how much or how little insurance our clients end up buying. We are seeking a skilled analyst with a growth-oriented mindset to join our Corporate Risk team as we continue to change the way insurance is bought and managed.
If you have an entrepreneurial mindset and an appetite for disrupting the traditional insurance model, Altus Corporate Risk might be the firm for you.
The analyst is focused on supporting the senior analyst(s), manager(s) and managing director on their team while becoming proficient in core technical issues, the insurance markets and the Altus approach to designing, building and managing insurance programs.
The analyst has direct and/or supervised contact with clients and carriers, and is expected to begin to develop relationships with both clients and underwriters. They will be actively coached to develop broader technical mastery and deeper knowledge of the insurance markets, as well as stronger communication and relationship skills—all while contributing to the growth of the firm and disruption of the insurance industry.
Providing comprehensive service to clients including answering basic coverage questions, executing policy change requests, issuing certificates or insurance and auto ID cards, providing thorough contract reviews, binding coverage when instructed, checking policies for accuracy, putting together proposals and coverage summaries, checking proposals and binders, and checking renewal applications and submissions.

About Altus Corporate Risk
At Altus Corporate Risk, we believe there is a better way to buy and manage insurance and control costs—and it all starts with eliminating commission from every transaction. Our fee-based approach eliminates conflicts of interest that are inherent to the insurance industry; unlike other brokers, we are compensated on the value of our service, not the amount our clients pay for their insurance coverage. We sit with our clients, on the same side of the table, every step of the way. We negotiate on their behalf and leverage our expertise and resources to drive outstanding results.
Founded in 1997, we serve corporate clients from all industries, of all sizes, in all 50 states, and in over 65 countries around the world.
