We are currently looking for a M&A Transactional Analyst to join the transactional risk team in New York for a unique opportunity to be a key part of our book of business.
ANV Global Services (http://www.anv.us.com) underwrites as a Global MGU with centers in Europe, London, and the USA. From our offices in Morristown, London, and Barcelona, we provide underwriting expertise for related and third party insurance companies including Lloyds of London. ANV Global Services is now part of the AmTrust Group (www.amtrustgroup.com).
ANV U.S. Transactional Risk Insurance is a new MGU under the ANV brand.
This position requires regular travel into NYC for team meetings and events.
The salary range for this role is $50,000-$65,000 a year. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in New York. Base pay offered may vary depending on, but not limited to education, experience, skills, geographic location, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics. This range may be modified in the future.
Responsibilities

- Review daily Merger & Acquisition Submissions; work with underwriters to assess submissions and draft key terms and pricing for our indications.
- Financial Statement/Business analysis – issue spotting
- Transaction Documents – issue spotting
- Completion of summary review documentation and coordination of internal approvals
- Coordinate and attend underwriting calls with underwriter
- Enter all monetary transactions (bound accounts, endorsements, cancellations, etc.) into our local bordereau.
- Reconcile monthly corporate reports.
- Update all spreadsheets daily (Local Bordereau, Renewal Log and Master Log)
- Send weekly underwriting status reports to business leaders.
- Maintain a high level of customer service.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of new and existing relationships.
- Promote the growth and strong reputation of ANV Global Services / AmTrust Group.
- Assist in underwriting business in accordance with ANV’s policies / procedures.
- Other related duties as assigned.
- Contribute and participate in all meetings to develop knowledge of market dynamics and to help support the performance of the team.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- PC Literate with emphasis on Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Excellent internal and external communication, interpersonal and listening skills.
- Must be a team player who enjoys a fast-paced business and entrepreneurial environment.
- College degree required; finance, math, economics focus a plus.
