Public Relations, Marketing & Communication Interns
Our team is seeking 2-3 Public Relations, Marketing & Communications Interns to help us connect with potential partners, research and canvas the area in which our next event will take place (Germantown), and help the team create more marketing leads and ideas.
ART NABE is a Black-owned creative collective + a community for emerging creators and entrepreneurs. Our team curates pop-up events spotlighting local talent with an emphasis on underrepresented creatives and entrepreneurs. We create opportunities infused with local heart and soul to make way for the culture to prosper.

We are searching for thoughtful, enthusiastic interns to join our team. Interns’ responsibilities include understanding the mission and ethos of ART NABE and generating awareness within our target audience.
To be successful as a Public Relations, Marketing & Communications Intern, you should exhibit excellent networking skills, take direction and constructive feedback humbly, be comfortable in a start-up environment and exude good vibes.
Public Relations, Marketing and Communications Intern Job Responsibilities:
- Understands the overall concept of ART NABE, including the brand, sponsor profile, event goals, and all other aspects of operations production.
- Coordinates ART NABE’s social media accounts and posts content. Monitor various social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and Tiktok.
- Assists in growing the ART NABE community through social media engagement
- Provide suggestions to management for improving ART NABE community experience on social platforms and internal processes.
- Brainstorms campaign ideas to present to the team
- Collaborate with our team to develop an ad campaign for upcoming event(s)
- Research and send approved communication to potential sponsors
- Analyzes analytics to gauge the success of campaigns.
- Research new venues and adapt marketing strategies accordingly
- Assists in creating post-production reports.
- Work closely with the marketing team made up of our Marketing Consultant and other interns
- Attend and contribute to monthly meetings (as necessary)
[Work Hours & Benefits] ART NABE’s Public Relations, Marketing and Communications Intern will be able to work remotely, following a flexible schedule for up to 10 hours/week. The ART NABE team is small but mighty team of 5 and we invite our Public Relations, Marketing and Communications Intern to join us for regular meetings but it is not required. The internship will last for 12 weeks (with possibility of an extension) and upon completion of the internship we will extend a stipend of at least $1,000 (subject to increase based on performance).
