Beacon Light Behavioral Health System is looking for a Community and School Based (CSBBH) Worker who is responsible to provide behavioral support to the child or adolescent and their family in specified areas of social, behavioral and emotional concern and needs that have been identified by the child/youth and family and addressed in the treatment plan. To provide support to the child that facilitates the growth and development of the child. To assist the in the development of therapeutic support skills in the parents, family members, educators, social supports, service providers and others to ensure that such support is maintained for the child as professional interventions are decreased and terminated. To provide case management support to individuals and families enrolled in the program including but not limited to attending clinical team meetings and scheduling coordination of ISPT meetings.
Beacon Light has partnered with various school districts in Pennsylvania to offer Mental Health treatment in a flexible Community and School-Based Behavioral Health (CSBBH) model.
This position gives preference to individuals with an active driver’s license and a DMV check that is clear. Position may require travel 25-50% of the time in the local community or to assist with individuals attending required appointments or visits.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- A bachelor’s degree in a Human Services related field.
- Two years of paid experience in a clinical setting.
