Blackberg is seeking multiple General Management Consultants who will play a pivotal role in driving Veterans Health Administration (VHA) programs forward through strategic planning, program management, operational improvement, and change management. We are currently seeking candidates for roles that will support a healthcare innovation programs (from advanced manufacturing to extended reality) as well as the evaluation and field testing of new suicide prevention programs.
These positions will collaborate with clients to analyze their current operations, identify areas for enhancement, and implement effective solutions to drive growth and efficiency. These roles will have the opportunity to support multiple contracts over time.
Responsibilities
- Lead process improvement initiatives to streamline operations and enhance productivity.
- Analyze qualitative and quantitative program data to deliver valuable insights and recommendations to clients.
- Collaborate with clients to develop actionable, measurable strategic plans aligned with their business objectives.
- Craft executive presentations to guide decision-making using Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
- Support business development efforts by identifying new opportunities and contributing to proposal writing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience analyzing complex business challenges and developing structured solutions.
- Strong background in strategic planning, process improvement, and/or operations.
- Proficiency in conducting research, analyzing data, and presenting findings effectively.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to drive initiatives from inception to completion.
- Ability to analyze situations critically and provide innovative solutions tailored to each client’s needs.
- Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely.
Preferred Skills
- An advanced degree is a plus.
- Experience in strategic planning and implementation.
- Prosci change management certified or knowledge of change management principles.
- Lean Six Sigma certification or familiarity with process improvement methodologies.
- Strong analytical skills to assess business performance metrics.
