This role will involve working as a member of the Research and Evaluation Team for the BMC Vital Village Network, which aims to optimize child wellbeing by aligning systems of care and education in early childhood and will support the evaluation of innovative strategies to promote family and community capacity.
Organizes, manages, conducts and directs clinical, epidemiologic, and health services research projects related to children and families, with primary responsibility for handling all the day to day administrative and management issues related to ongoing research studies. Activities will include traveling to 10 study sites across the country (one trip annually to each of the 10 sites) to recruit, interview and administer questionnaires. Functions also include the supervision of research staff, managing research databases for regular reporting on enrollment, serving as study liaison with the IRB, and providing financial management for the project, including purchasing needed supplies and equipment. Assists with new grant proposal development, and preparation of research reports and presentations, as well as testing and support of software tools and participation in clinical research collaborations.
