You’re committed to delivering efficiency and accuracy, and you happen to be great at proactive cross-functional communication. You’re a critical thinker and a natural problem solver who enjoys details, research, and data. You take initiative and complete ownership of everything you do, and you’ll go the extra mile for your team, consumers, and audience. You’re hungry to learn with a passion to grow and improve every day. You also take a keen interest in health, fitness, and nutrition. Sound like you? Then we want to meat you.

The Chomps Learner Program

Join the Chomps Learner Program to embark on a journey of growth and exploration in a new field or to gain valuable post-schooling experience. Our program is designed to foster your development, drive innovation within Chomps, and potentially pave the way for full-time employment if the fit is right. We prioritize your growth, learning, and empowerment to help you discover the type of permanent role that aligns with your interests and aspirations. If you’re beyond recent graduation but still eager to explore new opportunities, we encourage you to apply and join us on this exciting learning journey.

What You Will Do

As the Finance Learner you’ll play a hands‑on role in supporting the Finance and Accounting teams by digging into financial data, performing variance analysis, and helping deliver clear, actionable reporting. You’ll have the chance to streamline processes, improve data flows across the business, and make recommendations that boost efficiency. Along the way, you’ll learn how to analyze an income statement, interpret variances, and update key financial reports that help business leaders understand performance and make smart, data‑driven decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Support monthly forecasting and reporting, including variance analysis that helps explain what drove performance.
  • Assist with month‑end close tasks, helping ensure numbers are accurate, complete, and delivered on time.
  • Dig into financial data to help clean, organize, and validate information that powers core reporting and analysis.
  • Build and update financial models or dashboards used by the team and business leaders to make informed decisions.
  • Collaborate with teams across the business (Ops, Marketing, Accounting, etc.) to gather inputs, spot inconsistencies, and improve how data flows between systems.
  • Identify process improvements and share ideas that make financial workflows faster, clearer, or more automated.
  • Contribute to budgeting and planning cycles.
  • Run ad‑hoc analysis to answer real business questions—everything from cost trends to margin insights to project-level performance.

Who You Are

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field, or recently graduated.
  • Strong interest in understanding how finance drives real business decisions.
  • Comfortable working with numbers and data in Excel.
  • Comfort working with datasets, performing validation, and applying analytical methods to draw insights and deliver recommendations.
  • Curious, detail‑oriented, and not afraid to ask questions or dig deeper to understand the “why.”
  • Able to work both independently and in a team setting, with good communication skills.
  • Organized and reliable—you can manage multiple tasks and stay on top of deadlines.
  • Excited to learn financial modeling, reporting, and how an FP&A team operates inside a growing company.
