We have unpaid intern opportunities for students in Video and Film Production, Communications, Media Studies and Journalism.
Interns will be directly supervised and able to receive community service hours and/ or academic credit.
Projects For Film Interns:
Plan, design and create videoclips, videos, short or full-length films, graphics, animation, etc. to be used on our website, social media, YouTube channel, events, presentations, projects, etc. Opportunities to implement and manage projects in film, media, education and STEM are offered as well as a multitude of other areas and projects. If your idea or project is mission- aligned and a “go” from the board- then you have our support.
We need diverse materials to meet the needs of our diverse audiences: all ages and numerous subjects. Films and videos ranging from incredibly serious and important films, videos, media about health, water, air, pollution, climate change… and calls to action, to uplifting hopeful messages of inspiration to children’s materials and animation. We have outlines of ideas, materials, scripts and topics. We welcome ideas.
Professional Growth:
Remote opportunities. Interns, volunteers and those seeking academic credit have opportunities to select projects of interest to work on individually or in small groups. Coaching and feedback is available from board members, consultants and others working on projects. Interns will work with Suzanne Hume, a California credentialed teacher and the Educational Director of CleanEarth4Kids. Suzanne is dedicated to helping people reach their potential and has worked as a consultant, trainer, teacher, curriculum writer and reading specialist for over 30 years.
