Students from university-based counseling and clinical psychology and social work programs are invited to apply. Practicum counselors might also work to some degree with health profession providers such as social workers, case managers and faculty/professionals of the general community.Professional skills training will vary in complexity from basic engagement skills to more complex multi-level interventions depending on the individual practicum counselor. The training model is based on growth and adaptation through progressive increases in challenge and demand throughout the semester(s).
