We currently have an opening for a Speech & Language Pathologist in the Medical Rehabilitation Department at our Windsor facility.
Position Description:
Our CARF-accredited comprehensive outpatient rehabilitation team provides Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Speech Therapy, Neuropsychological Evaluations, and Social Work services to a broad variety of patients of all ages.
This per diem position will primarily be responsible for treating adults with aphasia, dysphonia and a broad scope of neurologic/medical disorders and children ages 4+ having ASD, developmental delays, articulation issues, and other related disorders. The candidate is responsible for assessment, planning, consultation, and delivery of services, as designated by his/her supervisor and consistent with the philosophy of the Company. Performs clinical services and procedures that require knowledge of an advanced type in the field of speech & language pathology and the consistent exercise of discretion and independent judgment.
Qualifications:
Must possess a master’s degree from an accredited Speech Language Pathology Program as well as Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) awarded by ASHA, or eligibility for certification. Must be licensed to practice in the State of Connecticut. Previous experience working with the disabled population preferred.
