We are a startup information technology company that will be launching this year. By harmonizing information from a myriad of industries and systems, we are providing an invaluable resource that can be used in countless sectors around the world. As such, we need to begin preparing for a growing client-base, as well as increasing numbers of employees. We are looking for someone with a background in accounting and/or finance who can assist in setting up and implementing effective structures to manage our balance sheet and payroll. This position is perfect for someone who wants to gain experience working with a company from its early stages and assisting in plans for growth.
- Proficient in financial software programs such as Excel and QuickBooks
- Ability to document and analyze financial information in a sensitive and meticulous manner
- Understanding of basic financial principles that relate to a growing startup company
- Highly motivated to learn technical and professional skills
- Ability to present findings and conclusions clearly and concisely
- Ability to exercise initiative, produce desired results and achieve objectives
This is an unpaid internship that may be used for course credit or may receive tuition reimbursement, where applicable. Edugion will work with the student and college advisor on achieving desired learning outcomes and completing all necessary paperwork. This opportunity may further lead toward employment with Edugion.
