Time: Full-Time including occasional events on weekends and week nights

Minimum Degree Required: Bachelorʼs Degree (Master’s is a plus)
Minimum Years of Experience: 2-7 Years’ Experience
Certification(s) Required: Experience with Salesforce and Quickbooks is a plus.
Primary Objective: Responsible for administrative and operational support to theExecutive Director.

OPERATIONAL SUPPORT: Project responsibilities include organizational, business,and logistical support and service to ensure successful completion of tasks on atimely basis and within budget. Expertise in Microsoft Office including Word,Excel, and PowerPoint, and experience with CRM and other enterprise systemsrequired.
PROJECT SUPPORT: Manages operational objectives as assigned demonstrating ahigh level of initiative as well as the ability to think ahead and act in a proactivemanner. Coordinates and implements the process for reporting anddocumentation of information related to projects/functions such as strategicplanning; assisting with the development of action plans; implementing customer-service standards; and resolving problems.
SCHEDULING: Serves as central point of contact for scheduling of executive leveland external constituent meetings exercising discretion and judgment to ensureeffective use of time. Ensures oversight of complex and detailed calendarsincluding scheduling of appointments, meetings and travel arrangements,identifying issues and creating options to resolve scheduling issues that arise. Thisposition provides support to the Executive Director and other officers as needed.
MEETING AND TEAM BUILDING SUPPORT: Coordinates and prepares materials tosupport meetings as assigned ensuring logistics for greeting/welcoming guestsare completed. Assists with the preparation of all Executive Director led meetingnotices, logistics, and meeting follow-up in timely manner. Attends regulardevelopment leadership meetings and prepares minutes for same. Attends anyother meetings as assigned, drafting minutes for affiliated entities.
COMMUNICATION: Creates presentations, talking points and other writtenmaterials for internal and external presentations by ED. Works with project teamsin correlation to EYEJ initiatives. Leads monthly internal Round-Up Newsletter.
DOCUMENTATION, FUNDRAISING, PUBLIC SPEAKING and PRESS PREP: Createsdocuments, letters, talking points and other written materials for internal andexternal presentations. Works with project teams in correlation to EYEJ initiatives. Leads monthly internal Round-Up Newsletter.
TECHNOLOGY: Helps with implementation of efficiency processes fororganization.Performs other duties as assigned by the Executive Director. Abilityto work thoroughly, with attention to detail and executive level decision-making ina fast paced environment. Carries out responsibilities with an understanding ofthe culture and value of EYEJ
