Interior Design Assistant  We are looking for a Design Assistant to join our very fast-paced and busy office. The ideal candidate will be positive, diligent, dedicated, and consistent. We are looking for the candidate to have 3 years of design experience and a degree in design. Qualities: Thorough and Detailed. We are looking for someone we can rely on to be meticulous in their details, including their notes from visits with clients, measurements, and tracking their paperwork/orders.  Communication skills. While we are a relatively small firm, we handle a very large case load of clients. This is only possible if we function as a team. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must! Must be comfortable answering phones and welcoming walk-in clients. Impeccable customer service skills are required to ensure successful projects. Solution Oriented. We are looking for someone who can make on-the-spot, yet thoughtful decisions. Situations can arise every day and we need someone who can handle the pressure.  Artistic and Objective. We are looking for someone with an eye for style and aesthetically appealing looks; however, just as importantly, we are looking for someone who can see through the lens of the client’s style. We are designing a space for them, and we want them to be confident they are getting what they truly like.  Creativeness. We are looking for someone who is imaginative, innovative, and collaborative in every sense.   Skills:  -Very Strong computer skills Microsoft Office, Ivy, Roomsketch(Experience using wix.com is a plus)- Initiative  Ability to work without direct supervision-Reliable Proven track record of following through, monitoring projects, and successful outcomes -Sales Experience Ability to connect with clients and help them achieve their dreams for their space. -Comfortable working on-the-fly Ability to balance competing priorities, handle unexpected and/or urgent dilemmas, and maintaining composure under pressure.
