Future Doctors in Politics (fDIP) is a recently launched national nonprofit working to build the next generation of doctors into a political force for patient-centric, equity-oriented change.
fDIP originated at Harvard Medical School and now has multiple chapters in development at medical schools nationwide to motivate, educate, and train medical students to participate in the political process, impact public policy, and seek elected office.
We are seeking motivated pre-medical students to help build this movement to make our country’s politics and policies work for our patients and communities Engaging with fDIP as a pre-med student will connect you to a community of changemakers and mentors in medicine, give you a headstart on honing your voice as an aspiring physician advocate, and empower you to make a lasting impact.
