- It’s critical that you identify as a buyer, that you convey this to sellers, and that you take ownership in your activity, whether that activity be successful or unsuccessful.
- You will be expected to take as much initiative as you can to rapidly improve your real estate education by taking notes, asking questions, and seeking resources. A thorough grasp of industry jargon and market movement will convey to sellers that you are a serious buyer.
- it’s critical that you identify strategies outside of the box and be creative to be competitive and effective, such that we distinguish ourselves from our competitors, connect with sellers by tailoring our proposals to their unique objectives, and thus improve our opportunity to secure deals.
- Sending LOI’s, originating deals from start to finish.
Qualifications:
- Patience and professionalism, even when the sellers you’re speaking with are displaying the opposite behavior.
- Language and communication skills – both written and verbal.
- Analytics – reviewing sales comps, underwriting properties, and analyzing zoning and regulatory factors.
- Adaptability – picking up nuances in how sellers are expressing themselves, determining their priorities, responding in kind, seizing opportunities where they exist, and being alert and responsive toward shifts in the market.
- Organization – taking thorough notes, setting tasks for yourself, knowing how to utilize the support that’s available to you, doing your best to maximize your opportunities without allowing any to slip through the cracks due to neglect or confusion.
- Technical skills – basic Microsoft Office capabilities and the ability to learn our tools, along with an intuitive comfort with electronic devices and contemporary modes of communication.
- It’s critical that you be prepared to follow up consistently with all of your leads and prospects. No deal closes by making one phone call.
- While you will be supported in every way possible by your management team, it’s vital that you be self-driven and autonomous in your workflow and habits. Punctuality, reliability, initiative, and time management will be critical to your success.
Benefits & Environment:
- This will only be a good fit for you if you are looking for a long-term opportunity where you can grow personally and professionally.
