About the Role:
As an Administrative Assistant/Office Assistant at Harborfields Music Center, you will be at the heart of our organization’s efficiency and customer satisfaction. In addition, you will take on the exciting responsibility of managing our social media platforms. From overseeing calendars and handling student schedules to greeting clients and maintaining a welcoming front desk, you will contribute to creating a harmonious environment where music and efficiency go hand in hand. Your role in social media management will involve creating engaging content, interacting with our community, and promoting our music programs.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and control calendars, room availability, teacher schedules, and student schedules.
- Handle incoming calls, emails, and walk-in traffic with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Update paperwork, maintain proper documentation, and perform light accounting tasks.
- Social Media Management: Create engaging content, interact with the community, and promote music programs on various platforms.
- Schedule and plan meetings, appointments, and reservations.
- Manage deliveries, run errands, and monitor inventory.
- Greet clients, give tours of the facility, and address questions on policies and pricing.
- Maintain studio equipment and ensure the office area is clean and organized.
- Fulfill additional tasks as required by the supervisor.
Requirements:
- Experience as an office assistant or in customer service.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to complete clerical duties timely and accurately.
- Typing speed: 60 WPM with 90 percent accuracy.
- Knowledge of office equipment and management procedures.
- Friendly demeanor and professional appearance (emphasis on professional).
- Able to lift and carry 50 lbs.
- Associate’s degree; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Social media management experience Preferred.
