If so, lets talk.Your Role and ResponsibilitiesIndustry Consultants support IBM clients to develop business opportunities through their understanding of the market trends and how technology can help IBM clients succeed. They define current and future operational scenarios (processes, models, use cases, plans and solutions) and works with Client using an agreed methodology to ensure proper translation of business requirements to solution requirements. Responsibilities include defining requirements of a healthcare-focused analysis, defining the best ways to measure healthcare data, leadership of the healthcare analysis process, and organization aspects of the solution processes (e.g., managing a healthcare-related project from start to finish). They understand financial and performance drivers, regulatory or competitive pain points and directions in the healthcare industry. They have a core understanding of IT solutions applied to the field of Health Plan Analytics and understand IBM solutions in this space, such as Watson Health solutions: Health Insights, Benefits Modeler, or Watson Oncology.Defining requirements of a healthcare-focused analysisDefining the best ways to measure healthcare dataCollaborating with internal team members and with an external client; and, organizing aspects of the solution processes (e.g., managing a healthcare-related project from start to finish using team collaboration or project management tools like Trello)Required Technical and Professional ExpertiseExperience using data analysis tools, including Excel, SAS, or Python to name a few examples;Experience collaborating with others to complete a projectExperience writing professional emailsPreferred Technical and Professional ExpertiseExperience analyzing or interpreting healthcare data, especially data from healthcare claimsExperience using advanced programming languages like PythonExperience communicating with external clientsAbout Business UnitIBM’s Cloud and Cognitive software business is committed to bringing the power of IBM’s Cloud and Watson/AI technologies to life for our clients and ecosystem partners around the world.
