The intern will work with fine artist Ivana George, to find and cultivate relationships with new audiences for her artworks through digital communications projects. The intern will gain training and practical experience in marketing and digital communications. The tools of these strategies include target audience research, blogging, video blogging, strategic organic social media, email campaigns, and advertising campaigns on social media. The student will be provided with educational content to build knowledge on these topics.Due to the covid-19 pandemic this internship will be conducted remotely via video conference. Therefore applicants outside the geographic area (Massachusetts) where artist Ivana George resides will be considered. Student needs to be able to earn academic credit to participate in the internship. Hours are flexible between Tuesdays- Saturdays. Knowledge of basic photo and video editing would be appreciated to help with the creation of social media content. Applicants within the eastern or central time zone will be preferred. Students with majors or minors in Public Relations, Marketing, Small Business Management, Entrepreneurship, Digital Communications, and Graphic Design will be preferred.
