About the role: We are seeking a creative, design-obsessed Graphic Design Intern to join our team this Spring. As the Graphic Design Intern, you will work directly with our Marketing Manager to create high-quality visual assets that support our social media, marketing campaigns, website, and overall brand identity. This role is ideal for someone who lives in Canva, loves creating beautiful graphics, and has a sharp eye for detail, trends, and aesthetics.
Responsibilities:
- Create eye-catching graphics for social media (Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest), email campaigns, paid ads, and our website using Canva.
- Support the Marketing team by creating templates, story designs, promotional graphics, and other visual assets that align with brand guidelines.
- Assist in developing branded materials for partnerships, influencer campaigns, and the ambassador program.
- Edit and refine existing designs to improve clarity, brand consistency, and visual appeal.
- Help brainstorm and concept new visual ideas, series, and campaigns for marketing initiatives.
- Conduct visual research, gather inspiration, and stay up-to-date on design and social media trends.
- Organize and maintain our library of branded assets, templates, and creative files.
You:
- Are highly proficient in Canva and comfortable designing a wide range of digital assets.
- Have strong visual communication skills and a good understanding of layout, color, typography, and branding.
- Are detail-oriented and able to stay organized in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Are creative, resourceful, and able to take direction while bringing new ideas to the table.
- Have excellent communication skills and can clearly articulate design choices.
- Appreciate cohesive branding and can follow brand guidelines precisely.
- Are self-motivated with a strong work ethic and eagerness to learn.
