Our lifestyle hotel company, Modus Hotels, is seeking passionate graduates to join our Emerging Leader program in the DC and Philly markets. At the completion of our year-long program, you will be able to interview for a leadership position in our company that aligns with your long-term career goals. The program features a leadership training series through our development arm, Modus University, as well as a opportunities to “Live Like a Local” through the program designed to help you put down roots in your new city.
What do we want you to do?
You will be at the center of the hotel’s universe –the front office. You will have an opportunity to stretch your leadership muscles and participate in our year-long leadership training program. The program includes participation in Stephen Covey’s 7 Habit’s 2 day program, group mentorship, and a customized development plan designed to align with your career goals. In addition, you’ll get a glimpse of the business side of the front office: staffing, scheduling, and expense management which are all vital pieces of your development and growth as a leader.
Who are you?
- Our fast-paced environment requires that you communicate clearly and demonstrate a high level of professionalism.
- You’ll know how to handle cash responsibly and reliably, and you’ll be able to use the tools of the trade: computers, databases, and property management systems.
- You will have a degree in hospitality management, and some experience working in a hotel or food and beverage.
