Remuneration: $350 per week
Multi-Arts* is seeking college students who specialize in children’s education to work with children grouped by ages of 4-6, 6-8, and 8-12.
The intern role is to inspire, guide, and ensure children’s safety while supporting professional teachers who teach various art activities, such as dance, music, mime, writing, improvisation, theater, art, and working with textiles, among others.
We require a commitment of at least two workshops.
Hours: 8:30-3:30
Place: Hampshire College, Amherst MA
Dates:
Workshop I: June 16 – 20
Workshop II: June 23- 27
Workshop IV: July 7- 18
Workshop V: July 21 – Aug. 1
Qualifications:
Two years of college education focused on children’s education. Attentive and proactive.
Communicate effectively with children and staff
Work cooperatively with the teachers
Job details:
Oversee campers as they experience different artistic activities throughout the day
Be active and engaging with campers during each activity
Ensure safety, health, and mutual respect by overseeing camp rules. Oversee snack/free/play/lunch times. Will have the opportunity to participate in and lead a variety of activities
