Position Summary: Responsible for delivering the highest quality of medical care within the scope of your licensed practice in an efficient and affordable manner consistent with our culture. In addition to overseeing the delivery of all medical services by the medical staff while on shift. All duties and responsibilities are to be performed in compliance with all company and regulatory guidelines.
Responsibilities:
- Provide highest quality of patient care
- Evaluate and medically treat patients in accordance with our medical delivery standard of care, as applicable to your license
- Oversee and manage delivery of all medical services by medical staff while on shift
- Oversee/collect biological specimens and process them, when needed, for testing
- Ensure all charts are filled out and medical records are completed using our EMR system
- Educate patients on infertility evaluations, medications, treatment protocols and procedures
- Oversee patients’ cycling process – injection training, consent reviews, medication questions, and answer general process questions throughout the cycle
- Coordinates patient treatment plans, such as Egg Freezing, IUI, In Vitro Fertilization and Frozen Embryo Transfers
- Provides patient/couple counseling, procedure teaching, communicates physician orders and instructions
- Routine phlebotomy as needed
- Perform intrauterine insemination
- Perform Ultrasounds
- Establishes a compassionate environment by providing emotional and psychological support to patients and patients’ families
- Support and promote excellence in customer service
Desired Skills or Experience
- 3+ years experience in a fertility or Ob/GYN practice preferred
- (new graduates will also be considered)
- Ultrasound experience preferred
- Experience in and a passion for women’s health, fertility is a plus
- Strong communication skills & a team player
- Willingness to be flexible and roll with the punches
- Detail oriented
- Current and valid NY or NJ state Registered Nurse Licensure for ARNP or Certified Physician Assistant Licensure
- Graduate Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program, or accredited PA Program
- Unrestricted, active, and current DEA number/license, if applicable to your license
- Excellent communicator with staff, patients and patient’s family members
- Sense of urgency, accustomed to tight deadlines, fast paced environment and ability to quickly adapt to change/stressful situations
- Ability to display high degree of inspiration and leadership for team members to retain focus of providing highest levels of patient satisfaction
