We are seeking a highly motivated undergraduate student to join Nfluence Partners as a part-time Business Development & Marketing Intern for fall 2026. Nfluence Partners is a boutique Investment Bank focused on advising companies at the intersection of technology and the broader economy on complex Mergers & Acquisitions and Capital Formation transactions. Operating out of San Francisco, Nfluence Partners thoughtfully maximizes value and realizes optimal outcomes for entrepreneurs, investors, and sponsors located around the world.
Our Nfluence team brings years of industry experience in investment banking, capital markets, and C-level entrepreneurship and has established key relationships within Software, Internet, Digital Media, Mobile, Communication Technologies, and Telecommunications. Our senior bankers have completed in excess of 200 M&A and capital markets transactions over the past 25 years.

Responsibilities
As a Business Development & Marketing Intern, you’ll gain invaluable exposure to senior leadership while supporting the firm’s business development, marketing, and strategic growth initiatives.
· Collaborate closely with senior leadership on business development, marketing, and strategic initiatives across the firm.
· Build targeted prospect lists, verify executive contacts, and maintain accurate CRM, business development, and M&A transaction records.
· Develop, execute, monitor, and optimize email outreach campaigns supporting industry reports, transaction announcements, thought leadership, and firm events.
· Track prospect engagement, outreach analytics, and client interactions to improve campaign performance and inform business development efforts.
· Use Claude and other AI tools to draft, refine, and personalize outreach copy, marketing content, and research summaries, always with human review before anything goes to a client or prospect. Conduct market and company research utilizing industry-leading platforms including Capital IQ, Crunchbase, DealCloud, Reply.io, and other business development tools.
· Assist in creating industry reports, presentation decks, marketing materials, website content, and external communications.
· Build and document repeatable AI-enabled workflows including prompt templates, research playbooks, and light automations that make the firm’s business development process faster and more consistent.
· Coordinate across teams to support firm operations, strategic initiatives, transaction execution support, and special projects that contribute to Nfluence’s continued growth.
Preferred Qualifications
· Rising Junior or Senior graduating in 2027 or 2028 (MBA students will not be considered) — approximately 15–20 hours per week.
· Strong academic record; cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.5 or above preferred.
· Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, marketing, communications, or a related field.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
· Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
· Strong research, analytical, and data interpretation skills with a data-driven approach to problem-solving.
· Technology proficient with the ability to quickly learn and effectively utilize new software and business development tools.
· Comfortable working with AI tools such as Claude or ChatGPT — able to write clear prompts, iterate on output, and critically evaluate results for accuracy before use.
· Demonstrated leadership through previous work experience, student organizations, athletics, or campus involvement is a plus.
· Previous internship or coursework related to investment banking, finance, business development, or marketing is a plus, but not required.
