The University of Nebraska at Omaha is seeking an
College of Public Affairs and Community Service
This position is responsible for maintaining and supporting the audio video systems in Mammel Hall. Responsibilities include coordinating stakeholder, client and vendor communication, support and maintenance of AV technology in Mammel Hall. This person will also be responsible for classroom and lab systems. This person will assist the CBA IT department in such areas as determining the strategic direction for CBA, including researching new technologies as it relates to AV and signage; organizing and/or participating in research and testing of new technologies; analyzing new technologies and potential benefit (process and financial), integration issues and risks; developing proposals for pilot projects, upgrades and/or the purchase of new software, hardware and/or networking. Also assist with developing and overseeing implementation plans as well as the maintenance of all technology within the building.
· Bachelor’s degree
· Two years of experience in A/V focused role with experience with AMX or Crestron,
· May consider an equivalent combination of education and experience
