The Su Lab is broadly interested in the crosstalk between the microbial environment and T cell immunity. In particular, we study how prior T cell interaction with commensal microbes alters T cell differentiation and function. We utilize single-cell transcriptomic analyses, epigenetic profiling, TCR sequencing, and high-dimensional imaging approaches to directly interrogate healthy and diseased states using primary human samples.
We have an ongoing study to examine human T cell response to COVID vaccines. We are looking for individuals with familiarity with biology and have basic coding experience. The successful applicant will join a vibrant and collaborative research group at the University of Pennsylvania. He/she will be involved in all aspects of translational research. Tasks will include processing samples, performing experiments, and analyzing data. The applicant is also expected to be involved in daily lab management and organization.
To apply, please send your curriculum vitae and a cover letter with a statement of research and technical experience by e-mail to Dr. Laura Su at firstname.lastname@example.org.
