Perrotin seeks a full-time New York-based Digital Coordinator to create, manage, and track content related to the gallery and its artists.
The ideal candidate is a skillful writer with a keen interest in contemporary art and social media. This person will have an intuitive understanding of social media and a knack for storytelling. They will have a foundational understanding of audience development, content production, and art history. The ideal candidate will be able to tackle a variety of projects with elegance and creativity, while working across our global network of galleries, artists, and team-members.
— Manage our gallery content calendar in collaboration with global counterparts
— Create dynamic content related to our artists and exhibitions
— Review content produced by team-members
— Ensure that content is accurate and abides by the gallery style guide
— Collaborate with artist liaisons to make sure language is vetted according to respective artistic practices
— Collaborate with the New York communications team to manage our digital presence, including artist webpages, exhibition pages, and key landing pages for the gallery.
— Assist communications team with archiving.
— This person will, on occasion, be asked to support the rest of the gallery on urgent projects and events.
— Organizational and project management skills
— Excellent writing abilities and strong copyediting skills (Chicago Manuel Style)
— Passion for social media and audience engagement
— Knowledge of and enthusiasm for our artists
— 2+ years of workplace experience, ideally relating to digital content creation
Position hours are Tuesday-Saturday, 10am to 6pm.
Candidate will occasionally need to work additional hours.
