We’re seeking dedicated individuals to facilitate engaging learning experiences for high school students. As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact, hone your teaching skills, and contribute to students’ academic growth.
Role Highlights:
Lead and facilitate dynamic classroom discussions and activities, focusing on AP Psychology topics, under the guidance of experienced teachers.
Provide valuable support to high school students, assisting with homework, answering questions, and providing guidance on college applications for 9th to 12th graders.
Collaborate with our management team to craft and implement weekly lesson plans that align with the curriculum and learning objectives.
Build positive and productive relationships with students, professors, teachers, and parents by maintaining open communication and addressing concerns promptly and professionally.
Conduct virtual meetings with students and parents using platforms like Zoom to share progress updates and address any queries or concerns.
Qualifications:
Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, or a related field.
Maintain a decent college GPA.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective interaction with students and colleagues from diverse backgrounds and learning styles.
Previous teaching or tutoring experience is advantageous.
Familiarity with the AP Psychology curriculum and experience in college application processes are desirable.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities allow you to easily juggle multiple responsibilities.
