The Event Operations Intern is responsible for executing behind the scenes and on site logistics for Playbook events while ensuring that all logistics requirements are carried out according to the event plans. All events take place in professional arenas and stadiums around the country in 20+ cities.. (This is an in-person role at our office in Hoboken, NJ) Flexible Start date between May and mid June. (Note: This internship is unpaid, we do however offer credits if your program at school allows it.
We are looking for high energy, motivated individuals who are passionate about sports. You’ll work hard every day and you’ll gain valuable experience right from the time you start. You’ll also be a part of a close knit group of die hard sports fans with a flexible and supportive work hard, play hard culture and office dynamic.
Desired Profile:
– Interest in working in the sports industry, and a prevailing passion for sports.
– Demonstrated history of academic success.
– Event Operations or Event Coordination experience.
– Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
– Strong work ethic and self-starter mentality.
Responsibilities:
- Staffing for events. Help with job postings, evaluating candidates, and ensuring that candidates are given all requisite information.
- Travel booking. Work within our framework to help book travel, and build out our booking capabilities.
- Events Support. Assist with our support channel when needed, understanding the entire scope of the events.
- Opportunity to Travel to Events. Visit some of your favorite professional venues, to assist with events on-the-ground.
- Event Operations and Team Relationship Management. Create information emails from canva templates, and understand the necessities from teams’ perspective, etc.
