Rockland Immunochemicals, Inc. offers an internship program for exceptional university students pursuing a career in biotechnology, science-related fields, and marketing. Rockland seeks to encourage exemplary students and to provide opportunities in an industrial laboratory and/or office environment, engaging interns in hands-on, project-based training.
All interns are assigned by the internship coordinator to a mentor and a specific department, based on the applicant’s skills and knowledge. All interns will learn project and time management and will work with a team.
The biotechnology and science-related interns may assist in product manufacturing, development and implementation of biological manufacturing processes, scale-up procedures, and testing methods relevant to the production of antibodies and other biologics.
• Biotechnology and science-related intern applicants must be enrolled in an active degree program related to Biological Sciences, Biotechnology, Biochemical Engineering, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Molecular Biology, or Microbiology.
• Applicants must be able to commit to work at Rockland from 8:00a-4:30p, Monday through Thursday over the course of eight consecutive weeks.
• Applicants that have completed two or more years of a degree program are preferred.
• Previous intern participants may reapply but will be restricted to a total of two summer internships. Previous mentor evaluations will be taken into account during the selection process.
Our standard summer internship program runs from June 3rd, 2020 through August 6th. Hours are 8:00 AM-4:30 PM, Monday-Thursday.
Interested applicants should send a CV and cover letter to email@example.com by February 1st 2020 to be considered for a summer position.
