Software Support Engineer, RoboticsOur engineers develop solutions to unique robot systems every day. If you’re interested in solving the “unsolved” problems, this is the position for you! Successful candidates will play a critical role in the validation and initial bring up of a powered exoskeleton, as well as provide input to the continuous improvement of robotic devices. This position demands exceptional creativity to develop innovative solutions for our unique products. It requires hands on abilities to implement and test new algorithms and software both physical hardware.Role/Responsibilities:Be part of a robotics team working on software implementations applied to newly-developed, advanced robotic hardware;Travel (up to 40% of time) to client sites for installation and technical support of software;Help support other engineering teams as needed during system design and testing;Troubleshoot robotic systems hardware and software;Document bugs and collaborate with the software development team to remedy them;Troubleshoot network connectivity;Prepare documentation of contributions and processes as needed.CompetenciesAbility to multitask and prioritize;Strong analytical and interpersonal skills;Persuasive oral/written communication abilities;Innately possesses accountability, fearless risk-taking and measurable achievement.Flexible and adaptable (willing to work on other technical problems as needed);Insatiable curiosity for science, technology and understanding of how things work.
