The Barnes Foundation offers summer internships in a variety of departments for undergraduate and graduate students. Our interns work with experts in their fields, gain valuable job experience, and engage in meaningful work.
Interns at the Barnes may contribute in the following areas:
• Business Development • Collections and Exhibitions • Community, Youth, and Family Programs
• Conservation • Development • Editorial/Publications • Education • Finance • Graphic Design
• Human Resources • Marketing and Social Media • Public Programs • Public Relations
• Registration • Retail
Internship applicants must be currently enrolled in undergraduate or graduate studies.
Summer 2021 internships will be virtual, not onsite at the Barnes Foundation. Internet access is required.
We are pleased to offer a select number of stipends of $2,500 each for undergraduate summer interns, with the goal of making internship opportunities more accessible to students. We encourage students of color, those who are underrepresented in the cultural sector, and students from low-income backgrounds to apply. We also have funding available for a select number of students who are from southern New Jersey or attend college in southern New Jersey.
