Internship Opportunity: Talk Show Interviewer for Brasschannel

Position Overview:
We are seeking two dynamic and motivated interns to join our team as Talk Show Interviewers for a 12-month internship. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in live broadcasting, interviewing musicians, and content creation while working with a passionate team.
Who We Are Looking For:
• Enthusiastic individuals with strong communication and interviewing skills.
• Self-starters who can work independently and meet deadlines.
• Candidates with a reliable computer, high-quality microphone, headphones, and a stable internet connection.
• Proficiency with Instagram Live, Facebook Live, and YouTube.
• Experience in setting up and conducting live online interviews.
• An interest in brass music or the music industry is a plus but not required.
• Only the most serious applicants should apply.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct 90-minute live interviews with musicians on Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube 1-2 times per week in the evenings (NYC time).
• Research and prepare interview questions.
• Coordinate with guests for scheduling and technical setup.
• Manage technical aspects of live broadcasts across social media platforms.
• Review and provide feedback on recorded episodes.
Work Environment:
• Fully remote work environment
• All meetings and interviews conducted online
• Use of Instagram Live, Facebook Live, and YouTube for broadcasts
Process:
• Scheduling Interviews: Contact potential interviewees via social media or email to schedule interviews.
• Technical Setup: Ensure all technical aspects (camera, microphone, internet connection) are prepared for a smooth interview process.
• Conducting Interviews: Host live interviews, engaging with the guest and audience.
• Post-Interview Review: Review recorded episodes, provide feedback, and prepare for future interviews.
