Position Summary:
You will be responsible for assisting our Associates, Vice Presidents and Chief Investment Officer in all aspects of the development and acquisitions process including: entitlement submittals, financial modeling, creating financing memoranda, design, construction, and asset management. This position will be based out of our Summerlin Las Vegas office.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist in creating and maintaining complex development models for large scale multifamily, retail and mixed-use projects
- Aggregate and evaluate market rent data for comparable properties analyses (rents, sale prices, occupancy, etc.)
- Aid in creating offering memoranda for both equity and debt requests
- Arrange and synthesize third party reports such as market studies, property tax analysis, etc.
- Conduct due diligence activities for new potential acquisitions and developments including: the research and analysis of market factors that may influence the viability of a potential deal/project
- Create, manage, track, and assist with the execution of due diligence-related activities
- Prepare and maintain project schedules and critical date timelines
- Prepare and communicate with third party vendors for RFP opportunities
- Prepare reports for senior management on development progress and critical decision points
- Assist in preparing materials to present to Directors, Managing Directors and Investment Committee members
- Assist development team in creating, preparing and managing other projects relating to the development, design, financing and construction of apartment buildings
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in relevant field (Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, etc.)
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel (Must be familiar with formulas, tables, and financial metrics), Power Point and Outlook required
- Strong academic track record
- Excellent oral and written communication skills (spelling and grammar)
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent phone skills
- Organized, able to set priorities, meet deadlines and able to multi-task
- Uncompromising attention to detail
- Able to both take direction and show initiative as appropriate
