Job description
We are a dynamic non-profit bringing together world-class scientists, musicians, artists, technologists and public policy experts to create new ways – using the emotional power of music – to communicate key aspects of the climate crisis and to motivate audiences to take action.
We are looking for interns to assist with a variety of projects such as communications (including social media), as well as outreach for our Be Cool Campaign engaging young singers to lend their voices to fight climate change while engaging their friends, families and communities in climate action.
Skills/Experience:
– Experience in creating content for different social media platforms;
– Excellent writing skills;
– Able to work independently and in small teams (with regular feedback and support);
– Ability to manage deadlines; and
– General understanding of/interest in climate change.

The internship can be done remotely and is part-time.
Over the last few years, we have performed in 10 countries for a number of major organizations including The World Bank, National Academy of Sciences and the Exploratorium. We have received global media coverage including in the NY Times. We work with scientists from UC Berkeley, CalTech, and others, and collaborate with a number of music and arts organizations
