As a Nurse in the Navy, you will:
• Deliver the most advanced medical care to our nation’s heroes and their
families
• Gain experience and pioneer new treatments
• Access the most advanced medical technology and resources
• Potentially exercise command of medical units and/or perform special staff
functions in health support for commanders at all levels
• Collaborate with fellow healthcare officers and partner with International
Relief Teams and organizations, such as FEMA, USAID and Project Hope
• Assure quality care by adhering to standards set by the physicians
• Provide care education to patients in person or over the phone
• Adhere to compliance guidelines throughout processes (OSHA, FDA,
HIPAA)
