Job searching is challenging for anyone, but if you’re an international student or scholar, there are additional steps you’ll need to consider, especially in today’s climate. This session, co-led by Career Services and International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS), will walk you through the different kinds of sponsorship available (and the requirements for each), how to find employers who are willing to sponsor, when to apply for OPT, how recent federal changes may impact your job search, and other important timelines and considerations for international trainees. Questions are encouraged during this interactive session!
