Workshop description: As a doctoral student or postdoc, negotiating a job offer is not something that you will necessarily have a lot of experience with, and so how do you go from being a novice negotiator to feeling like a natural? Join us for this workshop to learn about strategies for effective negotiation. In this mini-workshop, advisors from Career Services will cover the typical negotiating timeline, what can be negotiated, and will share some best practices for communicating with hiring managers confidently and optimistically.
