Networking strategies for introverts (and a few for extroverts too)

The idea of networking effectively for professional and career develop can sometimes feel overwhelming for even the most extroverted of people. The added social stressors of having to connect with unfamiliar people in unfamiliar places can make this approach especially challenging for those of us who have more introverted tendencies. In this workshop we will discuss why networking is so important, and how it can be made to feel more manageable. We will identify straightforward strategies for making the most out your current networks, and easy action steps to take to build confidence in your outreach efforts and make them as efficient and effective as possible.
