A productive fall semester, wherever you are

It’s all been said – how much we have experienced and how much is changing – and will continue to change – as we experience the global pandemic of SARS-CoV-19.  As the University stated just a few short hours ago, after much difficult deliberation, we as a campus community will be functioning almost entirely virtually this fall.  Please – please – don’t let this little hurdle of our geographic distance from each other keep you from engaging with our office and pursuing your internship and career dreams.

Every member of our staff has been working remotely – and successfully at that!  I’m grateful to see the statistics in our Executive Director’s blog from earlier this summer regarding the sheer volume of student and alumni appointments our advisors have held.  For Career Services, it’s truly business as usual and we’re happy to help you.

Please reach out to us with your questions, your career-related concerns, your thoughts.  We are planning a robust series of live and recorded programming, including a special interactive session on how to engage with employers during our virtual career fairs and information sessions.  One-on-one advising appointments are available, for career questions and regarding applications to graduate and professional schools, as are resume reviews (please see our website for specific details on how reviews are managed by each team).

We look forward to hearing from you, and wish you and your loved ones health and safety in the coming weeks and months.
