By attending the University of Pennsylvania‘s STEM CAREER FAIR, you will enjoy the opportunity to recruit highly qualified undergraduate and graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, and recent alumni for internship and full-time employment – while also building and expanding your brand on campus and seeding your talent pipeline. This event typically draws candidates of all academic levels from our interdisciplinary and practice-oriented School of Engineering & Applied Science as well as from our many other NSF-classified STEM disciplines across Penn’s twelve schools. This includes undergrad students from the First Ivy League Bachelor of Science in Engineering in Artificial Intelligence.
Please note the fair is not open to the general public, students from other colleges and universities, Wharton MBA or Penn Law students.
Participate in this career fair to enjoy these featured advantages:
- ACCESS TOP TALENT: Penn undergraduate/graduate students are driven and engaged, and bring with them strong transferable skills applicable to many different industries.
- ESTABLISH AND MAINTAIN A PRESENCE AT PENN: Build a recruiting pipeline for future candidates by sharing best practices about your hiring and opportunities.
- REVIEW RESUME BOOKS: We will create resume books for this year’s event, broken down by degree and whether students/postdocs are seeking internships or full-time opportunities. Employers will receive a link to resumes from students and postdocs registered for this career fair one week prior to the event. Employers may reach out and connect with students/postdocs that they are particularly interested in talking to, and arrange to meet during or after the career fair.
Penn students are eager to make connections with employers interested in their wide range of technical and transferable skills, and you can be confident that you will find the high caliber of students that you are seeking.

Format
For this in-person event, each registered employer will have 2-3 chairs, a 6-foot table for handouts, information, and displays, as well as a sign identifying the organization. Students and postdocs will speak to employers at the tables. Employers with specific job opportunities can identify these during the registration process by uploading positions to Handshake, and then easily linking to these during the registration process. These opportunities will be highlighted in the pre-event outreach and marketing to students and postdocs interested in attending the fair.
Please note: A maximum of 3 representatives per organization is permitted. Depending on space constraints, exceptions might be possible for sponsoring organizations upon request.

Please take note of these best practices around shipping:
Sending & returning packages:
- Please label all boxes clearly with the name of your organization, as well as the total number of boxes expected.
- Please inform any third-party shippers (i.e., the company that sends your boxes of t-shirts, etc.) of the need to include your organization name on your package(s); in the event boxes are not labeled, our staff will attempt to identify your package to ensure it’s delivered to your table.
- BEST PRACTICE: Include a completed RETURN label for each of your packages for your shipper of choice (i.e., FedEx, UPS, DHL), and provide your representatives with instructions on how to return or re-ship your items to your next event.
- Please note: items intended for return shipping may not be left at the facility without proper return labeling, postage, and notification to the shipper for pick-up. Event staff are not able to arrange shipment on behalf of your organization.
