The Marketing Project Specialist will partner with the Marketing Operations team and help with the rollout of a new Workflow/Process management tool (Asana). They will develop and launch training for the new asana program to key marketing personnel and help to analyze processes to help streamline work and create further efficiencies. Will help to create a marketing materials program and database to enhance the functionality of current marketing materials storage.
The internship begins June 2024 and will run through August 2024, but our hope is that the lessons you learn will carry forward as you later embark on your career in your chosen field.

- Analyze current tools and processes in place and identify ways to improve time to market and to enhance the prioritization of tasks.
- Create a Marketing Materials database
- Gain real world project management experience in the workplace – understanding the marketing process on how a marketing plan goes from planning to execution. And enhancing the level of understanding in navigating and utilizing the asana software to reduce time to market.
- Work with the marketing team to identify current locations and storage requirements of all marketing materials
- Develop a shared location database that will house all creatives and marketing materials
- Create a common nomenclature structure and training to ensure materials are labeled for effective use
- Develop training videos, manuals, fun facts, and FAQ materials
You will have access to work with and learn from other team members within the organization to evolve your Marketing skills. You will also meet with a mentor to discuss learnings and career goals.
Requirements:
- Candidates should be entering their junior or senior year of college with at least a 3.00 GPA
- Pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, or related areas of study
- Be a self-starter with the ability to learn new concepts quickly
- Exhibits analytical and problem-solving skills
- Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills
- These positions are required to be in-office, so candidates must have reliable transportation
