Position Summary
The candidate will be responsible for coordinating human and animal studies. A successful candidate will be a self-starter, have excellent organizational and record keeping skills, and be able to multi-task while maintaining precision and quickness.
Responsibilities
The candidate will assist in managing and coordinating multiple human and animal studies related to blood disorders.
25% – Coordinating and recruiting volunteers for human clinical studies
25% – Performing animal experiments
20% – Animal husbandry
15% – Recording/analyzing data
10% – General lab maintenance
5% – Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree and at least one and one-half years of related experience or equivalent education, training and experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Clinical research experience, human subjects training, handling blood
- Small animal research experience, in particular, working with mice
